AN ARBOR DAY VILLAGE Jordan is a small municipality with community population of 1325 within the Central New York region. It is known as "An Erie Canal Village" based upon the historical architectural setting of its downtown Business District and its Erie Canal Parkway, which is located at the approximate midpoint of the historic Erie Canal between Albany and Buffalo. The Village and the community as a whole take great pride in maintaining its historical heritage through its limited available funding, financial contributions, donated supplies and voluntary labor. Our village is located in the Town of Elbridge in Onondaga County in the State of New York. Our close neighbor, the Village of Elbridge is also within the Town. Major businesses in our village include Lyons Bank, Crowley Computer Services, server for this site, and Bennett's Bolt Works. The Erie Canal traveled right through the middle of our quaint village.
